Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using multimodal.live (the "Website") or Multimodal Mapper software (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Description of Services

Multimodal provides LED pixel-mapping software and a membership community for artists, performers, and venues. Services include:

  • Multimodal Mapper software (subject to tier-based licensing)
  • Members Club access with exclusive content, tutorials, and resources
  • Community features and support

Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

Membership & Subscriptions

Billing

Paid memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing date until you cancel.

Tier Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

Software License

Use of Multimodal Mapper software is governed by our End User License Agreement (EULA). Your membership tier determines which software features are available to you.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Share, distribute, or resell your account access or software license
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent licensing mechanisms
  • Use the services to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers
  • Impersonate any person or entity

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our services - including software, text, graphics, logos, and documentation - are owned by Multimodal Studio and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Content you create using our software (your light shows, configurations, compositions) remains your property.

User Content

By posting content to community features (forum, showcase), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services. You retain ownership of your content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multimodal Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the services will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
