This software grew from years of building installations and performing visuals at parties and festivals. Starting with Arduino, then Fadecandy, then discovering the ESP32 and WLED ecosystem - a tool emerged that didn't exist and needed to be built.
Multimodal Mapper stands on the shoulders of open-source projects: WLED's incredible LED firmware, the ESP32's accessible hardware, ISF's open shader format, and Art-Net's industry protocol. Every feature exists because it was needed on a gig.
It's a tool from a working artist, now shared with other artists and small venues who want something more than off-the-shelf solutions.
